what is this?Resources are things that can be booked: rooms, laptop trolleys, portable projectors, or anything you can think of.

Helpdesk teams
what is this?This is the number of teams that you run in your school. Helpdesk teams might include your IT team, your estates team, or a team for the School library. Each team can have as many members as you want, and has a shared inbox from which team members select and respond to helpdesk tickets.

Users
what is this?We want everyone in your organisation to benefit from Kahu, so we don't limit the number of users you can have. You can easily add new users one at a time or in bulk, and can pick any usernames you want.

Zero-installation
what is this?Kahu is a hosted service. This means you access everything via your web browser. There's no need to install servers or desktop software, and we take care of all the maintenance for you.

Continuous updates
what is this?There's no paid upgrade cycle. We're continuously rolling out enhancements and bug fixes - you get them as we develop them. Because Kahu is a hosted web service, you don't even need to install patches.

Backups
what is this?We back up our servers every night to a secure off-site location, so you never have to worry about losing your data. Although we back up all schools' data every day, we don't guarantee the backups on our free accounts.

Need help with setup?
We offer an assisted setup service for a one-time fee of £480. For this price, we will work with your IT team to:
- import all of your users from Active Directory (or another data source);
- import all of your timetabled bookings from SIMS or CMIS (or another data source);
- provide initial training to get you up and running.
